SINGHEALTH DUKE-NUS AMC CLINICIAN-SCIENTISTS AND RESEARCHERS WIN NATIONAL RESEARCH AWARDS
We would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to our clinician-scientists and researchers who received national grants and research awards at today's National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Awards Ceremony.
Three SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC teams secure S$60 million grant funding
Three of our research teams have secured a total of S$60 million in funding through the Open Fund-Large Collaborative Grant (OF-LCG), a national competitive research grant that supports teams from public institutions who advance research for improved human health and wellness. The project teams are as follows:

We are proud to also announce that 20 of our clinician-scientists and researchers have been awarded prestigious talent development grants across various categories, including the Singapore Translational Research Investigator Award, Clinician-Scientist Award, HPHSR (Health Promotion, Preventive Health, Population Health & Health Services Research) Clinician-Scientist Award, and Clinician-Innovator Award categories. These awards are presented to talented individuals who lead internationally competitive, cutting-edge and novel translational and clinical research.
In addition, 18 of our clinician-scientists received the Transition Award and NMRC Research Training Fellowship. Collectively, these awards and programmes push the boundaries of medicine and improve patient care, enabling a healthier future for Singapore and beyond.
Prof Ranga Krishnan Honoured with Inaugural NMRC Distinguished Contributor Award
At the ceremony, Professor Ranga Krishnan, former SingHealth Board Member and second Dean of Duke-NUS Medical School, was awarded the inaugural NMRC Distinguished Contributor Award. This award recognises individuals who have made significant and sustained contributions to NMRC's work and activities.
